Good point Sherman, I guess we can think of New Jersey as an early Silicon Valley. An innovation cluster like (from my Massachusetts series) Kendall Square in Boston being called "The most innovative square mile on the planet." And like Austin is developing into. I have a future post coming that I'll call something like 'Innovation in New Jersey.' One big advantage NJ had/has was cheap space for labs (cheap compared to NYC).
